We welcome Brian Kennard to the Circuit as our new Minister commencing on 1st September. We welcome too , Clare,his wife and all the family. They are moving to the Manse on the 8th August. We trust their ministry will be greatly blessed by God in the area and ask everyone to pray for them. For strength in the physical move, for wisdom and joy as they move into a new season of their own service for God.

'Brian and Clare come originally from villages in Surrey. Brian has been in full-time ministry since 1986, serving as a lay pastor in Cambridgeshire and Derbyshire and then, after ordination in 1995 in the Mansfield Mission Circuit and for the last six years in the Mid-Sussex Circuit, a rural area near to Brighton. Clare has used her musical and artistic talents alongside Brian in the ministry, and together they have a long experience of working with children and in sharing the Good News of Jesus. Our great desire is for people of all ages to experience 'the glorious liberty of the children of God'.

Circuit Youth Worker - Helen Bamber

I long to see young people experience the light and love of God in their lives and see them commit their lives to Christ and grow in faith.

I've lived in Market Harborough since 1989 and took up the post of Circuit Youth Worker in December 2002. I drifted into children's work when my first child was a baby and God has grown my understanding and love of this work ever since. Church youth work is never boring and I'm regularly involved in youth clubs, holiday clubs, school clubs, as well as teaching lessons on sexual health. I also work closely alongside other churches to put on Christian youth events locally.


My three children are a great support to me, knowing the importance of reaching their generation with God's love.
